D. John Hendrickson is the founder and principal of Manhattan Advertising & Media Law, Inc. and an industry-leading attorney in the field of advertising law. With more than 30 years’ experience, Mr. Hendrickson represents advertisers, advertising agencies, digital marketing agencies, production companies, talent endorsers, direct response marketers and product developers and licensors.

Mr. Hendrickson is an accomplished lecturer, frequently speaking at national and international industry forums. He has served as an instructor for 20 years at the Advanced Institute on Advertising Studies sponsored by the 4A’s, and as a member of the National Leadership Circle of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. In addition, Mr. Hendrickson is the lead author of Ad-Infinitum, Legal Checklists for the Advertising Industry.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from Stanford University in 1977, Mr. Hendrickson earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1981.
